To create a culture of knowledge management through the participation of networks, groups and research projects on science, technology, innovation and social development, as well as define the guidelines for research that will allow the permanent consultation of community needs and provide arguments for curriculum renewal.
In this manner, the Research Vice-Rectory will design, promote and advise projects that respond to regional needs and increase the competitiveness of the productive sector. Thus improving communities' quality of life and stimulating the creation of Research Groups as the basic units of knowledge generation, with lines of research that respond to local needs and the academic interests of the faculties and programs.
